Blanchardstown St. Patrick's Day ParadeSt. Patrick’s Day is Ireland’s National Holiday and it’s a time when communities around the country come together for a series of parades in every corner of the country.

Fingal County Council host this parade which makes it way through the Main Street in Blanchardstown towards it finishing point at The Blanchardstown Centre. This is one of Ireland’s premier parades. The aim of event is to highlight community and local action across Fingal and to provide a way for families to come out and enjoy this great event.

We are looking for happy, enthusiastic, reliable and motivated volunteers to be Ambassadors for this event. Volunteer roles cover all aspects of the event. Full on site orientation, support and recognition will be provided. Roles open to those aged 16 and over. Volunteer Programme managed by Event Volunteers.

Roles for this event include:

  • Parade Set up
  • Registering participants
  • Providing information to the general public
  • Assistance at take down after the parade
  • Directions and information giving

Transport
The following buses serve Blancharstown: 17A, 37, 39, 39A, 76A, 220, 236, 238, 239 and 270 Buses will most likely terminate away from the Main Street, so check dublinbus.ie for your local route.
