About this event:
Dublin Kite Festival attracts attendees from around the country, brandishing an array of kites ready to take to the skies and beautify the Dublin skyline with a jumble of colour. There’s free entertainment all day long ensuring that attendees enjoy a carefree afternoon reliving childhood memories of kite flying whilst having fun with friends and family.
Whether attendees are brilliant kite fliers, or failing kite triers everyone gets off the ground in the end as there are plenty of kiting experts ready to lend a hand. The day is also boasted lively music, exciting games, kite making workshops and a kite flying competition
Volunteers are required from set up 07:30 to 18:30. Duties: Event set up – erecting gazebo pop up tents, flags & bunting and signage, laying out crowd control barriers, etc.
Getting There
Dublin Bus Route 130 from Middle Abbey Street. Alight at Bus Stop No. 759 at junction of Clontarf Rd, Mount Prospect Avenue.
