Event Volunteers at the KBC Dublin Marathon (Sunday 27 October 2019)

About this event:

The KBC Dublin Marathon takes place on the Bank Holiday Weekend of Sunday 27 October 2019.  Volunteer Ireland are recruiting Event Volunteers to work in the Volunteer Hub supporting the registration of volunteers in The Alex Hotel, on Sunday 27 October.  

We are also recruiting Event Volunteers to be based in the Volunteer Hub in The ALex Hotel on Race Day, Sunday 29 October.  We are recruiting volunteers whose responsibility will be registering volunteers in the designated volunteer hubs for the event.

There are a number of shifts on Sunday so please select a shift that best.  This will be an early start so we have offered a variety of shifts for you to sign up to. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join us to help welcome the main volunteers and enthuse them to do a great job at the start and finish line.

Getting there
As the event commences very early on Sunday morning those on early volunteer shifts will need to make arrangements to get to their choosen location on time as Dublin Bus Services will be running a Sunday timetable and there will be major interruptions to services.  There is no car parking available around the start / finish line and where possible we’d suggest using Train and Luas services to access the city.
