Event Volunteers at Malahide Concerts 2019Over a two-decade career, Snow Patrol has carved out a unique place for themselves.Since their 1998 debut, Songs for Polarbears, which Pitchfork hailed as “an impressive piece of work,” their melancholy anthems of heartbreak and separation have mended hearts, and the band has racked up an impressive number of critical and commercial accolades, including 15 million global album sales, 1+ billion global track streams, 5 UK Platinum Albums, and are Grammy, BRIT Award and Mercury Music Prize nominated.

Eyes Open, released in 2006, was the biggest-selling album in the UK that year; they went on to headline such festivals as the prestigious T in the Park. But after their Fallen Empires tour ended in 2012, band members – guitarist, vocalist Gary Lightbody, guitarists Johnny McDaid and Nathan Connolly, bassist Paul Wilson, and drummer Jonny Quinn – decided to stop for a while.

Performing to 65,000 strong fans, the set list was packed with 29 hit songs including ‘Pictures Of You’, ‘Lovesong’, ‘Inbetween Days, ‘Just Like Heaven’, ‘A Forest’, ‘Lullaby’, ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ and more.

The Cure formed in Crawley, Sussex, England. Played its first show in 1978. Has performed around 1,500 concerts to date. Has released 13 studio albums. Several concert films. A few live albums. Some soundtrack songs. More than 40 singles. A couple of box sets. A couple of books. A greatest hits thing. A handful of covers. And various other stuff. Has had 13 members in 40 years.

Munford and Sons in Concert at Malahide Castle (Friday 14 & Saturday 15 June 2019)

Event Volunteers at Malahide Concerts 2019Irish fans of British folk rock group Mumford & Sons are in luck as they are coming back to the capital this summer.

They will be joined by a number of support acts on the night, including up and coming Irish band Wild Youth, Dublin singer Dermot Kennedy and Norwegian act Aurora.

The group, whose hit tracks include Lion Man and I Will Wait, are no strangers to Ireland. They kicked off their 60-date Delta world tour in Dublin last November 16 – the day their new album launched, featuring released singles Guiding Light and If I Say.

The group – made up of lead singer Marcus Mumford, Ben Lovett, Winston Marshall and Ted Dwane – formed in 2007.

In 2009 they founded Gentlemen of the Road, a live promotions company, record label and organiser of the global series of Stopover Festivals.

Assist with directions before and following the concert plus a number of ad hoc tasks as they may arise.

His debut studio album, Wanted on Voyage was released in June 2014, reaching No. 1 in the UK and the top ten in seven other countries.

Lana Del Rey in Concert at Malahide Castle (Friday 22 June 2019)

Event Volunteers at Malahide Concerts 2019It will be three years since Lana Del Rey last played in Ireland at Electric Picnic 2016 and the “Summertime Sadness” singer promises to deliver emotive performances of her cinematic sound in the magnificently unique and tranquil setting of Malahide Castle.

Lana Del Rey first started her music career in 2005. In 2011 she received widespread attention when the music video for her single ”Video Games” became an internet sensation. Her debut album for a major label, “Born to Die”, reached number two on the Billboard charts and was the fifth best-selling album of 2012. She has gone on to release three further albums including 2017’s “Lust for Life”.

In September 2018 Del Rey released two singles “Mariners Apartment Complex” and “Venice Bitch” She also announced her forthcoming album, due early 2019, to be titled “Norman Fucking Rockwell”

Flavours of Fingal County Show (Saturday 29 & Sunday 30 June 2019)

Flavours of Fingal County ShowWe are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and motivated volunteers on Saturday and Sunday to be ambassadors for this events.

At Flavours of Fingal County show you will enjoy the fantastic food, learn all about the farm and animals and enjoy a great fun for the family.

The roles will cover the following: Walled Garden and the two entrances to festival area – meet and greet, information providers, information and maps givers.  Volunteer must be aged 18 or over.
